Add Your Email Account: Navigate to Email Accounts → Add Account. Click the Gmail or Outlook preset, enter your credentials, set your custom daily sending limit, and save.
Install the Chrome Extension: During first setup, click “Open Chrome + Extension Folder”. This opens Chrome Extensions and the extension folder in Finder. Click “Load unpacked” in Chrome, then click “Select”. Keep Instagram, Twitter/X, or Facebook tabs open in Chrome for DM delivery.
Create a Campaign: Go to Campaigns → New Campaign. Name your campaign, select your primary communication channel, and write your first message template using dynamic merge tags.
Import Your Leads: Navigate to Leads → Import CSV. Ensure your spreadsheet contains at least an email for email campaigns or a social handle for DM campaigns. Assign the imported list directly to your campaign.
Launch: Click Launch on your campaign dashboard. The automation engine takes over sending messages, detecting replies, filtering bounces, and managing account health automatically.
Save your lead list as a standard .csv file with column headers in the very first row. The system maps data from headers like first_name, last_name, email, company, role, platform, instagram_handle, twitter_handle, facebook_handle, and linkedin_url.
Platform: For DM campaigns, use instagram, twitter, or facebook. Do not use LinkedIn as a sending platform. LinkedIn URLs can be imported, enriched, displayed, and exported, but they are not used for automated DM sending.

Merge tags are dynamic placeholders that get automatically swapped with a lead’s real information right before a message sends.

Bounce Protection: Hard bounces are flagged and skipped to protect sender reputation.
Delivery Windows: You can configure schedule constraints so messages only send during selected business hours.

Is this a recurring subscription?
No. The Founding Edition is a one-time $199 purchase for The Outreach Machine software license.
Your Founding Edition license includes the future Pro upgrade at no additional charge. Connected third-party services, data providers, inboxes, domains, or platform accounts may have their own separate costs.
What does “hardware-bound” mean?
Each Founding Edition license is activated for one registered machine. This protects the limited license allocation and prevents a single key from being shared across multiple computers.
What happens if I replace my computer?
Each license is activated for one registered machine. If your computer is replaced, lost, or permanently unusable, contact support for license-transfer review. License transfers are handled individually to protect the limited Founding Edition allocation.
Why are there only 250 licenses?
The Founding Edition is the initial release. Limiting the allocation allows the development team to support the first deployment closely while preserving the $199 launch price for a defined group of early buyers.
Once all 250 Founding Edition keys are provisioned, that edition closes.
What happens after checkout?
